Country Deejay, Snake Hill, St. Catherine (1992)

Sorry for the delay here posting but I have been going through a lot of old prints and slides. While I was sorting out photo I discovered quite a few vintage prints, some 8×10’s and 11×14 prints. I have decided they are doing me no good sitting there so I have decided to sell them off. I will probably be doing this on Ebay.

The prints were all hand printed in the darkroom by me in the early 1990’s, some 25 or so years ago. Some of the prints are one of a kinds and some are in editions of 3 or 4. Once these prints are gone there will be no more, I will not be printing any of these  images myself. Each print will be signed and numbered. The image here, “Country Deejay” will be the first print offered. This was shot early one morning after Joseph Hill’s Channel 7 Sound System had been blaring all through the night. Here was an open mic session with several deejays doing their thing. This particular Deejay did pretty well with the mic in one hand, a Dragon Stout and a spliff in the other.

The print is a sepia toned archival print on 11×14 matte paper, the actual printed image size is 6 3/4 X 9 3/4. The image above is also edited down in size, the actual print has about a 2″ wide white border around the print. This is also an addition of one in this size. Email me if anyone is interested.
