A girl posing on the wall, First Street in Trench town. (1996?)
Over the years I spent a lot of time in Trench town and have taken a lot of portraits there. This picture is from one of those trips. I would try to go down once a week or so to hang out get the vibes and take some photos. At one point I was working on a book with some of the bredrin there but after Massive Dread was gunned down the project kind of changed. Some more people ended up getting killed, some left the island so the project never was quite finished. I still have hundreds of images from dem times and hope to put it all together in the right project soon.
