Mr. Boombastic, Shaggy in New York City, 1993.
This picture was shot on my rooftop in New York City not long after “Oh Carolina” came out. Shaggy was not yet the huge multi-platinum star that he is today. He needed some new photos shot so he came over to my place with a friend. I remember it was a beautiful day out so we decided to go up to the roof to do the shoot. We got a lot of great shots that day, many appearing in several different reggae magazines.
With five number one hits, eleven top ten singles a Grammy award and two multi-platinum records, Shaggy is an international success selling over 20 million records so far.
